Scene 1: Smith and Pravi – A Blossoming Connection (Nighttime)
It was a quiet, peaceful night on campus. The stars flickered above, and the dorm seemed asleep, save for a few late-night wanderers. Smith sat alone on the balcony, leaning against the railing and gazing at the moonlit sky. The cool breeze brushed past him, but it did little to ease the storm inside. It had been a long day, and tonight, everything felt heavier.
For the first time in his life, he was away from home. His father's health was not in the best shape, and back home, things weren't easy. Loans to clear, responsibilities to shoulder, and an emotional tug-of-war between his dreams and his family's expectations. His parents had always wanted him to take a more "practical" route—business management, a steady career. But Smith's heart was set on filmmaking, a dream that often led to arguments and tension.
He had fought them hard, standing firm on his decision, but the guilt never quite left. Tonight, as he sat alone, the sadness crept back in.
Pravi, feeling thirsty, stepped out of the dorm. As she walked past the balcony, she noticed Smith sitting there, lost in thought. Surprised, she walked over to him.
Pravi: (softly, with concern) "Smith? Tum yahaan? Itni der tak? Tum theek ho?"
Smith turned around, startled. When he saw it was just Pravi, a weak smile appeared on his face. "Haan, bas kuch soch raha tha. Tum kya kar rahi ho?"
Pravi: (slightly smiling) "Main bas paani lene aayi thi. Par tum yahaan... sab theek lag nahi raha."
She paused, looking at him more closely. "Tumhare chehre se itna toh samajh aa raha hai ki tum bohot udaas ho. Kuch share karna chahoge?"
Smith sighed deeply and leaned back against the railing, looking up at the sky. A long silence followed before he spoke, his voice quiet but heavy with emotion.
Smith: (with a distant look) "Kuch thik nahi hai, Pravi. Ghar ki yaad aa rahi hai... Pehli baar ghar se door hoon. Mera father bimaar hai, aur ghar pe kai zimmedariyan hain. Loans hain, mushkilein hain... Sab kuch sambhalna padta hai. Aur yahaan... film banane ka sapna. Mere parents ko yeh sab samajhna mushkil hai."
Pravi: (sitting beside him, her tone gentle yet curious) "Yeh toh kaafi tough situation hai. Tumne kabhi apne ghar walon se apne sapne ke baare mein baat ki thi?"
Smith hesitated for a moment, his voice shaking as he spoke.
Smith: "Bohot baar baat ki thi. Mera sapna filmmaking ka hai, lekin mere parents chahte the ki main business management karoon, ek secure career. Unhe laga main filmmaking mein secure nahi rahunga. Lekin maine apne sapne ko apna haq samjha, aur uss faisle ko liya. Samajh nahi aata... kyu log filmmaking ko itni lightly lete hain. Haan, creative hona zaroori hai, lekin yeh field bohot hard hai. Koi samajhta hi nahi, yeh kaam... 24 ghante bhi kam padte hain kabhi. Subah-shaam, raat ke shoots... sab kuch apne aapko samajh kar karte ho. Ghar walon ko lagta hai ki yeh sab meaningless hai."
Pravi: (softly, with empathy) "Tumhare sapne ko samajhna bohot zaroori hai, Smith. Haan, yeh field tough hai, bohot hi zyada struggle hai, lekin agar tum apne sapne ko sach mein jeena chahte ho, toh usmein jo challenges hain, unko accept karna padta hai. Tumne jo faisla liya, usme tumhara junoon aur dedication hai. Tum apne sapne ke liye lad rahe ho, aur yeh hi sabse zyada important hai. Agar yeh tumhara passion hai, toh tumhe isse jeene ka pura haq hai. Kabhi bhi apne sapne ko chhupane mat dena, chahe duniya kuch bhi kahe."
Smith's face softened as he listened to Pravi. The sadness in his eyes slowly began to ease, though doubt still lingered.
Smith: (with uncertainty) "Par agar maine yeh sab sahi nahi kiya... agar yeh sab galat ho gaya toh? Kya tumhe lagta hai main apne parents ki expectations ke against gaya hoon?"
Pravi: (gently, with reassurance) "Smith, zindagi mein har faisla risky hota hai, aur hum sab kabhi na kabhi apne decisions pe doubt karte hain. Lekin tumhare liye jo bhi sahi lagta hai, uss par faith rakhna zaroori hai. Tumne apne sapne ke liye jo faisla liya, vo tumhara right tha. Tum apne parents ki expectations ke against nahi gaye ho, tum apni happiness aur apni zindagi ke liye sachcha rasta dhoondh rahe ho. Agar tum apne dil ki sun rahe ho, toh tum galat nahi kar rahe ho. Har step mein seekhne ka mauka milta hai, aur agar kuch galat hota hai, toh bhi tum usse apni journey ka hissa bana lo. Tum apne rasta pe chal rahe ho, aur vo sabse zaroori hai."
He looks at pravi, her words sinking in. h feels something shift inside him - A weightlifting off his shoulders.
Smith: (with a soft sigh, lighter) "Tum sahi keh rahi ho, Pravi. Kabhi socha nahi tha ki apne sapne ke liye itna kuch jhelna padega. Mere liye yeh sapna bohot zaroori hai, aur main chahta hoon ki mere parents samjhein.
Pravi: (smiling warmly, with understanding) "Main samajhti hoon, Smith. Tumhara sapna tumhara hai, aur tumhe apni life apne tareeke se jeene ka hak hai. Tumhare parents tumse pyaar karte hain, aur shayad wo tumhare sapne ko samajhne mein thoda time laga rahe hain. Lekin ek din wo samjhenge ki tum jo kar rahe ho, vo tumhare liye sabse zaroori hai. Tum apni journey pe ho, aur main poori tarah se tumhare saath hoon. Tum jo bhi kar rahe ho, vo tumhare passion ka hissa hai, aur usme tumhara saccha hona hi sabse zaroori hai."
Smith looks at Pravi, his heart filled with gratitude and newfound resolve. He gives her a small, sincere smile.
Smith: (with a lighter tone) "Thanks, Pravi. Tumhare saath baat kar ke... kuch accha feel ho raha hai. Shayad sab kuch theek ho jayega."
Pravi nods with a warm smile, her eyes filled with kindness.
Pravi: "Jab bhi low feel karo, yaad rakhna main yahaan hoon. Feel free to share, aur kabhi apne aap ko akela mat samajhna."
Pravi smiles softly and heads to bed, while Smith gazes up at the moon, his heart full of quiet determination. He whispers to the night:
Smith: "Mummy, Papa, I love you both. Main aap logon ko zaroor proud feel karwaunga, pakka."

Scene 2: Sweth and Meera – A Confession in the Hallway
The class had just ended, and students were leaving the lecture hall, talking and laughing. Sweth walked ahead, his hands in his pockets, while Meera followed behind him. Her heart was beating fast. She had liked him for a long time—his calm nature, his easy smile, and how he made everything look simple.
But today felt different. There was a strange feeling in the air, a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Suddenly, Sweth stopped walking. Meera almost bumped into him. Her breath caught as he turned around and looked at her. The busy hallway suddenly felt quiet—at least to Meera.
Sweth: (softly) "Ek baat bolun?"
Meera blinked, feeling nervous. She swallowed hard and nodded.
Meera: (hesitant) "Haan?"
Sweth took a step closer, his voice calm but serious.
Sweth: "I love you."
Meera's eyes widened in surprise. She couldn’t believe what she just heard. Her mouth opened slightly, but no words came out.
Meera: (whispering) "Kya? Phir se bol..."
Sweth smiled a little, his usual confident smile. He looked into her eyes and said it again, this time more clearly.
Sweth: "I love you."
Meera felt so many emotions at once. She had imagined this moment many times, but hearing it for real was different. Her mind told her to say something, but all she could do was nod, her cheeks turning red.
Sweth noticed and smiled.
Sweth: (teasing) "Bas itna hi reaction tha tumhara?"
Meera: (stammering) "Nahi... woh... main bas... soch rahi thi ki yeh sach hai ya koi sapna?"
Sweth: (laughing softly) "Agar sapna hai toh please mat jagna."
She looked down, smiling shyly. They started walking together down the hallway. Everything felt light, but there was a new feeling between them—something exciting, something unknown.
Meera kept looking at him from the corner of her eye, still trying to believe what had happened. She wondered if he had always felt this way or if it was something new. Her heart was racing with every step.
When they reached the dorm building, Sweth turned to her.
Sweth: (gently) "Toh... kya jawab hai?"
Meera looked at him, a mix of happiness and nervousness in her eyes.
Meera: (smiling) "Kal bataungi... thoda suspense toh banta hai na?"
Sweth shook his head and laughed.
Sweth: "Tum bhi na... suspense queen!"
Meera laughed and walked towards her room, but before going inside, she turned and said softly,
Meera: "Waise... jitna socha tha, usse zyada special tha yeh moment."
Sweth smiled as he watched her go inside.
Inside her room, Meera leaned against the door, pressing her hands to her chest, feeling her heartbeat. She looked in the mirror, her face glowing with happiness, a big smile on her lips.
Meera: (to herself) "Finally... jo socha tha, woh sach ho gaya."
Outside, Sweth stood for a moment, looking at her door with a smile. He whispered to himself,
Sweth: "Mujhe pata tha tum yeh bolne wali ho."
Then he walked away, feeling lighter and happier than before.

Scene 3: Late Night Gossip – Kavya & Aashvi
Late at night, Aashvi is playing badminton when she calls Kavya. Despite being in different countries for a while, their friendship remains as strong as ever. They pick up right where they left off, teasing each other about their new adventures and the mysterious guys they've met abroad.
(Phone rings, Aashvi picks up the call)
Aashvi: (mocking) Finally, after ages! Kya ha, itne din ho gaye, ek call tak nahi, kuch nahi... Koi mil gaya kya waha?
Kavya: (laughs) Oh hello, tum bhi kuch doodh ki dhuli nahi ho, madam! Reached message karke khatam – koi response hi nahi aata!
Aashvi: Haan toh tumhe karna chahiye na phone, har kaam mai hi karu? Anyway, yeh sab chhodo. Wo Insta pe repost kiske saath kiya tha? Yeh Garg kaun hai? Itni badi gossip, itni badi baat mere se chupane ki himmat kaise ki!
Kavya: (rolling eyes) Arrey kuch nahi, wo Garg bas ek classmate hai. Chill maar! Hum library mein sath study karte hain, bas. Waise accha ladka hai, studies bhi easy kar deta hai kabhi kabhi.
Aashvi: (teasing) Ohhh, studies easy kar deta hai! Matlab, the "guess the book" ki padhaku kidda ko kisi ki company acchi lag rahi hai? How is this even possible?
Kavya: Please! Tum bhi padhaku kidda ho, mujhe mat bolo. Aur waise bhi, jab woh sath hota hai toh thodi exam ki tension kam ho jaati hai. That’s it, nothing else!
Aashvi: (grinning) Someone's falling in love, I guess!
Kavya: Tumhara khali dimaag yeh sab mat soche! Tum batao, uss din "Mihir" naam le rahi thi... Kaun hai yeh?
Aashvi: (deadpan) NASA ka CEO.
Kavya: Sach mein? Tumhe kyun milne aayega CEO?
Aashvi: (eyeroll) Kuch bhi! 🙄 Uska serious face aisa lagta hai jaise kisi country ka raja ho! Itna irritating banda hai ki pucho mat! Matlab, mujhe yaha survive karne ke liye Oscar milna chahiye. Overconfidence ki dukaan! Jaise abhi-abhi kahin se Ratna award jeet ke aaya ho!
Kavya: (laughing) Aur pravachan toh aise deta hai jaise TED Talk chal raha ho, right?
Aashvi: Exactly! Aur har time mujhse competition karni hoti hai! Matlab, itna gussa aata hai ki kabhi kabhi lagta hai uska sar phod du!
Kavya: (laughing hard) Ek yaha Garg – ekdum chill, aur ek waha Mihir – pura overconfident! Jameen-aasmaan ka farq hai! Vaise tum bhi kuch kam nahi ho, tumne bhi bechare ko pareshan kiya hoga!
Aashvi: (indignant) Bechara? Kis angle se? Aur tum uski side kyun le rahi ho? Tum meri side pe ho, samjhi?!
Kavya: Haan haan, shaadi mein tumhari side pe rahungi, don’t worry! Opposite attracts you know..!!
Aashvi: Oh hello! yeh "opposites attract" waali theory mujhpe mat laga, okay?
Kavya: (smirking) Dekhte hai...
Aashvi: Tum jao yaar!
Kavya: Kaha jaun? Aadhi raat ho gayi yaha!
Aashvi: Garg ke paas jao!
Kavya: Tumhari tarah itni velli nahi hoon mai! Aur tum badminton khel rahi ho raat ko? Oh haan, tum toh bhoot ho, bhool gayi thi!
Aashvi: Madam, yaha shaam hai! Mai new York mein hoon, tum london mein!
Kavya: Thanks for the information, Ms. Google Maps. Bye!
Aashvi: (laughing) Huh, badi aayi opposites attract wali! Main aur Mihir? Impossible!
The call ends with both laughing, their banter echoing across the distance.
